		<description>Note: You shouldn&#039;t be able to taste the syrup on top. Its added mostly for its color contribution. If you can taste it, you probably used too much. A light zig-zag pattern across the crust should be sufficient. 

Sorry to hear that it was too artificial tasting to you. I&#039;d be interested to hear what variation you come up with.</description>

		<description>i&#039;m at a loss.  I like it, but don&#039;t love it yet.  It tastes a bit too artificial for me.  I didn&#039;t use the red food coloring.  I tried several loaves - normal topping, just cinna-sugar, nothing.  I like the look of the topping, but not the flavor of the syrup.  Perhaps next time I&#039;ll chop/puree strawberries for the top.  I&#039;ll probably try to use the puree instead of the jam as well.  Good recipe.  thanks!</description>
