I've got your recipe in the crock pot right now....very excited. I did cut back on the white sugar (maybe 1/4 c instead of 1/2). I also used a smaller 8oz can of tomato sauce instead of the typical larger size. My roast is about 4.15lb. Another tip is that at Costa Vida they dust your hot tortilla with powdered Parmesan cheese. I will let you know how it came out. I also noticed that this blog was written a while ago. Have you made any adjustments since then?

Thanks for the tips! I have developed many mixed feelings about Wilton Fondant. I love the look, hate the taste. I am anxious to try the recipe you included for a Red Velvet cake I am making this week. I wasn't sure how fondant would taste next too cream cheese icing, but with your suggestion, things should be great!

I'm pretty sure it makes 2 standard/full size loaves.... 5x9, I believe.
Or 1 standard loaf and 2 small ones.

My favorite is Deverle's all-purpose seasoning. I grew up with it, and I always keep it in my food storage. I've only seen it in Cache Valley, Utah since it's made by a local restaurant there (Juniper take-out). I use it in just about everything.
